Embroidery Design Creator

Why are embroidery designs different from regular images?

Embroidery machines work with solid thread colors and cannot reproduce gradients, shadows, or fine details like photographs. Our embroidery tool creates designs with flat, solid colors, clean edges, and no outlines - perfect for digitizing in professional embroidery software like Wilcom, Pulse, or Brother PE-Design.

What is character consistency?

Character consistency allows you to maintain the same character design across multiple images while changing only the action or pose. This is perfect for creating series of embroidery designs featuring the same mascot, logo character, or design element. The AI will preserve facial features, proportions, and distinctive characteristics.

Can I use these designs directly in my embroidery machine?

The generated images need to be digitized first using embroidery software. However, our designs are optimized to make this process much easier - they have clean color separation, no gradients, and distinct regions that auto-tracing tools can easily convert to embroidery paths. This saves significant time in the digitizing process.

What embroidery software works with these designs?

Our designs work with all major embroidery software including Wilcom, Pulse, Brother PE-Design, Bernina DesignerPlus, Janome Digitizer, and even free options like Ink/Stitch for Inkscape. The clean, flat-color design makes auto-digitizing much more accurate and reduces manual cleanup work.

Clean to SVG Converter

What does the Clean to SVG tool do?

This tool takes any image and transforms it into a clean, vector-ready format by removing gradients, simplifying colors, and creating distinct color regions. It's perfect for preparing images for SVG conversion in Inkscape, creating embroidery-ready graphics, or simplifying complex artwork for various manufacturing applications.

How do I convert the cleaned image to SVG?

After cleaning your image, use Inkscape's "Trace Bitmap" feature or "Color Quantization" tool. The cleaned image will have distinct color regions that these tools can easily separate into individual vector objects. You can then save as SVG and edit each color region independently.

What's the difference between SVG and Embroidery conversion types?

SVG conversion focuses on creating clean vector graphics suitable for logos, illustrations, and scalable graphics. Embroidery conversion specifically optimizes for embroidery digitizing by ensuring colors are flat, edges are clean, and the design follows embroidery-friendly principles like avoiding fine details and complex shapes.

AI Vectorizer

What does the AI Vectorizer do?

The AI Vectorizer converts raster images (PNG, JPG) into scalable vector graphics (SVG) using advanced AI technology. This is perfect for logo recreation, sign making, and preparing artwork for large-format printing and cutting applications.

What file types can I upload?

The Vectorizer accepts PNG, JPG, and JPEG image files. The output is always a high-quality SVG file that can be scaled to any size without loss of quality, making it perfect for professional printing and manufacturing applications.

How is this different from other vectorization tools?

Our AI Vectorizer uses advanced machine learning algorithms to understand image content and create intelligent vector paths. Unlike traditional auto-trace tools that simply follow pixel edges, our AI creates clean, optimized vectors that maintain the essence and quality of the original image.

3D Relief Generator

What is the 3D Relief Generator?

The 3D Relief Generator converts any image into 3D printable STL files using advanced AI depth estimation. Upload any photo or image and transform it into a detailed bas-relief mesh with professional depth mapping, mesh optimization, and customizable settings perfect for 3D printing, CNC carving, and laser engraving.

What file formats can I upload?

The 3D Relief Generator accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and WEBP image files up to 16MB. The output is always a high-quality STL file that can be directly used in 3D printing software, CNC programs, or other manufacturing applications.

How do I adjust the depth and quality?

The tool offers multiple quality levels (Draft, Standard, High, Ultra) to balance detail with file size and processing time. You can also adjust relief height and base thickness to control how pronounced the 3D effect is. Higher quality settings produce more detailed meshes with professional mesh optimization, while lower settings are perfect for faster processing or simpler designs.

What do the advanced settings control?

Texture Strength → Controls how much fine surface detail (like wood grain, scales, wrinkles) shows up in the relief. Lower values = smoother, higher values = more detail and "roughness."

Depth Map Smoothing → Smooths out the overall AI-generated height map. Think of it like blurring hills and valleys. Higher values = softer, cleaner surfaces; lower values = more raw AI depth detail.

Texture Smoothing → Affects only the surface texture (the tiny bumps and patterns). Higher = softer textures, lower = sharper/rougher textures.

Max Height / Min Height → Define the tallest and shortest points of your relief in millimeters. This sets how "deep" or "shallow" the carving looks.

Base Thickness → Adds a solid base under the relief, important for printing stability.

PCA Planar Correction → Straightens and corrects perspective so the relief sits flat, avoiding warping if the source image isn't perfectly straight.

Can I use the STL files directly for 3D printing?

Yes! The generated STL files are optimized for 3D printing and can be directly imported into slicing software like OrcaSlicer, BambuStudio, Cura, PrusaSlicer, or any other 3D printing workflow. The meshes are properly manifold and ready for manufacturing.
